Alicante Real Aeroclub is located in a privileged area, firstly because of the climate which permits flight nearly all year round. In winter, while the rest of Europe is covered in snow, here we have magnificent temperatures as we enjoy 300 days of sun a year but it also has a lot of other things that add an enormous appeal .
Magnificent beaches are only a few minutes by car away from the famous beaches of San Juan with nearly 6km of fine golden sand. Very close you can also enjoy privileged locations like Altea, Denia, Javea, Calpe, Villajoyosa, Benidorm or Torrevieja with an average of 74 beaches awarded with the mark of quality, the blue flag, given by the European Union, all connected perfectly by roads and motorways.
Lets not forget the interior turism, the modernist city of Alcoy, natural parks Sierra Mariola and Carrascal de la Font Roja, also known for its Moroccan and Cristian “fiesta” celebrations, Gadalest castle, one of the most beautiful castles in Spain, Agres, Benifallim, Torremanzanas and other places of interest where you can find good food, walks in nature, relax and if you wish you can stay over in any of these hundreds of rural places to lodge.
If your hobby is golf, you have at your disposal excellent courses such as Alicante Golf, Bonalba Golf Club, El Plantío Golf Club, Alenda Golf, Altea Don Cayo Golf Club, La Finca Golf, Ifach Golf, Jávea Golf Club, Las Colinas Golf & Country, La Sella Golf Club, Villaitana Golf Club (Real de Faula) and others.
In the same area you will find numerous natural parks such as Montgó, Sierra Helada, Peñón de Ifach, Las Salinas and others where you can go hiking or incredible bicycle routes.
Moreover there is a lot of culture in the area for example: Museo Arqueológico Provincial de Alicante, the fort and castle of Santa Barbara where a museum of the city is, el museo de Bellas Artes Gravina, Museo de Aguas de Alicante situated in the heart of the old town of the city, Museo de Arte Contemporaneo and lots more.
Alicante is famous for its rice but there is a lot more to offer. The gastronomy is one of the best, therefore chosen as the Food Capital of the Mediterranean in 2019. For example in the surrounding areas there are lots of restaurants with prestigious Michelin stars. The variety is immense and always the best quality.
But not everything is food, culture or art, leisure in Alicante is one of the attractions of the Costa Blanca.

Not so far away is the international airport of Alicante-Elche with international flights all over the world, harbours like Puerto deportivo Luis Campomanes, el puerto deportivo Dehesa de Campoamor and much more, with magnificent service and world famous shipyards that are in charge of maintenance and repairing boats or even ordering a new one.
